21 dengue patients hospitalized in last 24 hrs

Twenty one dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.


“During the period, three patients were hospitalized in different hospitals under Barishal, five in Chattogram, seven in Dhaka and six in Khulna divisions while one in Dhaka South,” said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of dengue case rose to 1,021 while nine deaths from dengue disease were reported this year, reports BSS.

Last year, the total number of cases rose to 1,01,214 while 575 deaths from dengue disease were reported, the statement added.
