21 dengue patients hospitalized in last 24 hrs

Twenty one dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the last 24 hours till this morning.


"During the period, five patients were hospitalised in Barishal division (out of the city corporation), one in Chattogram (out of the city corporation), seven in Dhaka division, six in Dhaka North   City Corporation and two in Dhaka South City Corporation ) " a press release of the  Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

The total number of the disease now rose to 1,132, while ten deaths from dengue disease, reports BSS.

Last year, the total number of the dengue patients rose to 1, 01,214, while 575 deaths from the disease were reported, the press release added.
