22 New Dengue Cases Reported in Last 24hrs

In the 24 hours leading up to Sunday morning, 22 new dengue cases were reported, bringing the total for the year to 1,845.


The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the following new cases: five in Barishal Division (outside the city corporation), twelve in Chattogram Division (outside the city corporation), and five in Dhaka South City Corporation.

There were no new fatalities reported, leaving the death toll at 13, the DGHS added.

Currently, 102 dengue patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.

In contrast, dengue claimed 575 lives last year, with a total of 101,214 reported cases and 100,040 recoveries.
