National Fisheries Week rally, discussion meet at Kalapara
Kalapara best fish farmers being awarded - 24-07-2022.
Patuakhali: A colorful rally and discussion meeting organized by the upazila administration and fisheries department was held on the occasion of National Fisheries Week 2022 in Kalapara of Patuakhali at 10 am on Sunday.
Kalapara Upazila Parishad Chairman SM Rakibul Ahsan spoke at the function as chief guest. Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Apu Saha and Kalapara Fisheries Cooperative Society president Salam Biswas spoke among others in the Upazila Parishad auditorium, Kalapara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abu Hasnat Mohammad Shahidul Haque presided over the program. Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Shafikul Alam Babul, Female Vice Chairman Shahina Parveen Seema were present as special guests.
On the occasion of Fishery Week 2022, three successful fish farmers of Kalapara Upazila were given awards. They are: Md. Samsul Alam, the best fish (pabda fish) producer of Elempur village in Nilganj union of the upazila. Md. Shahjahan Matubbar, the best shrimp PL producer of
