Two farmers were killed when lightning struck them at Nuarmath area of Kutubpur union of Meherpur



Two farmers were killed when lightning struck them at Nuarmath area of Kutubpur union of Meherpur district on Friday afternoon (August 2).
The deceased were known as Khokon, and Shah Alam.
Kutubpur union parishad chairman Selim Reza said, lightning struck the duo while they were working on their field in the area, leaving them injured. Later, they were taken to Meherpur General Hospital where duty doctors declared them dead.
Meherpur Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter.
