Former Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Mohammad Manjur Alam wants to give Saudi Arabia goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais a flat.

Former Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Mohammad Manjur Alam wants to give Saudi Arabia goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais a flat as award for his outstanding performance against Argentina.

Manjur Alam said this while speaking at a Shokrana Mahfil held at Mustafa Hakim Bhawan Auditorium in Chattogram city to celebrate the victory of Saudi Arabia against Argentina in FIFA World Cup 2022.

Alhaj Mostafa Hakim University College Principal Mohammad Alamgir presided over the Shokrana Mahfil organized by Alhaj Mostafa Hakim Welfare Foundation.

Manjur Alam said, “Saudi Arabia has increased the reputation of the Muslim Ummah by defeating Argentina. Alhaj Mostafa Welfare Foundation wants to accord a reception for Saudi Arabia’s goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais. I want to give him a flat in Bangladesh.”

Alhaj Mostafa Hakim Welfare Foundation and Alhaj Hosne Ara Welfare Trust authorities have announced half holiday on Wednesday for the educational institution and madrasas run by them.
