Man found dead in Dinajpur cornfield

Police on Sunday recovered the body of a man from a cornfield at Ghoraghat upazila in Dinajpur .



Police on Sunday recovered the body of a man from a cornfield at Ghoraghat upazila in Dinajpur district.
The deceased was identified as Ismail, 32, son of late Abdur Rashid, a resident of Rishighat area in the upazila.
Ghoraghat Police Station officer in-charge Abu Hossain Kabir said locals spotted the body in the cornfield in Lalmati area this morning and informed police.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Legal steps would be taken based on a written complaint from the deceased's family, the OC added.
