Two crushed under bus in Kurigram
Two people were killed as a Dhaka-bound bus hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw at Trimohini of Kurigram sadar upazila on Saturday.
Two people were killed as a Dhaka-bound bus hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw at Trimohini of Kurigram sadar upazila on Saturday morning.
The driver of the bus has been injured seriously, who has been sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
One of the deceased is Abdul Hannan, who hailed from Tohraihat of Rajarhat.
According to witnesses and police, a Dhaka-bound bus of Amar Enterprise from Olipur upazila lost its control and hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw, standing on the road, around 8.00am.
Confirming the news, Sub Inspector of Kurigram Sadar Thana Zahid Hasan said police had seized the bus and the dead bodies had been sent to Kurigram General Hospital.
