Thief kills youth in Brahmanbaria

A 22-year old youth was killed as a thief allegedly hit him with a spear in Sarail of Brahmanbaria early Tuesday.



A 22-year old youth was killed as a thief allegedly hit him with a spear in Sarail of Brahmanbaria early Tuesday.
Officer-in-Charge of Sarail Thana Md Aslam Hossain confirmed the news on Tuesday noon.
The deceased is Parvej Mia, son of Ubaed Mollah at Char Kakria village.
According to the deceased relatives, a group of thieves were fleeing with two cows. Being informed, Humayun and his younger brother Parvej obstructed them on the bank of river Meghna. At one stage a thief hit Parvej with a spear, leaving him critically injured.  Parvej succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
