Bank employee found dead at home in Ctg’s Patia
A 27-year-old bank employee’s body was found at his home in Mansa village under Chattogram’s Patiya upazila.
A 27-year-old bank employee’s body was found at his home in Mansa village under Chattogram’s Patiya upazila on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Jahangir Alam, 27, son of Ayub Ali. Jahangir worked at First Security Islami Bank’s Dhanmondi branch in Dhaka.
Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Patiya Police Station said Jahangir got married six months ago.
His body was found hanging from the ceiling of his house at 9 pm on Friday. His wife Jerin Akter was at her parents’ house.
Police suspect that Jahangir might have committed suicide over domestic dispute. The body was sent to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
