People in Chuadanga and Sirajganj districts are shivering as the mercury dropped below 10 degree Celsius.



Cold wave is sweeping in the northern part of the country and some more districts, including Rajshahi, Dhaka and Khulna.

The lowest temperature 6.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Chuadanga and Sirajganj districts on Tuesday morning.

Bangladesh Meteorological Department's Meteorologist Abul Kalam Mallik said, "The temperature may remain between 6 and 10 degrees Celsius for the next few days in some parts of the country, including northern regions.

The met office said that there may be rain in some parts on Tuesday. It may rain in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions today.

The weather will remain dry with partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the country.
