Earthquake Shakes Parts of Bangladesh

An earthquake struck various parts of Bangladesh, including Dhaka and Chattogram, on Friday afternoon. The tremor, which lasted several minutes, occurred around 12:20 PM (March 28).


According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake originated 16 km north-northwest of Sagaing, Myanmar.

At this time, there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage. Authorities continue to monitor the situation.
