Rescue team to fly to earthquake-hit Myanmar Sunday: ISPR

DHAKA, March 30 – A rescue team from the Bangladesh Armed Forces is set to depart for Myanmar on a special flight on Sunday in response to the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Myanmar.

The team will deliver essential medicines, relief materials, rescue, and medical assistance, according to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on Friday, resulting in the deaths of over 1,600 people. - UNB
