Bangladesh’s fuel stock stands at 192,919 tonnes: Energy Division

The total stock of all types of fuel oil in Bangladesh stood at 192,919 tonnes, the Energy and Mineral Resources Division said on Tuesday.


Division’s spokesperson and Joint Secretary (Operations) Monir Hossain Chowdhury disclosed the information at a press conference at the Secretariat.

He said the fuel stock as of Tuesday includes 128,939 tonnes of diesel, 7,940 tonnes of octane, 11,431 tonnes of petrol and 44,609 tonnes of jet fuel, reports UNB. 

The government is regularly monitoring the overall energy situation to ensure stable supply across the country, he added.
