International oil prices rose again after falling for two consecutive days, driven by growing uncertainty surrounding the Iran conflict and concerns over potential disruptions to global oil supplies.

Brent crude prices increased by 81 cents, or 0.77 percent, reaching $105.83 per barrel at 12:55am GMT on Thursday. During the same period, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose by 97 cents, or 0.99 percent, to $99.23 per barrel.

Market analysts said uncertainty over a possible ceasefire in the Iran conflict has intensified concerns about disruptions to oil supplies, adding pressure to global energy markets.

Concerns have also increased after a decline in US crude oil inventories, raising fears over tightening global fuel supplies.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump signalled that sanctions on Iran would remain in place unless a final agreement is reached.

The White House delivered the message amid ongoing discussions by the US administration over the Iran issue, indicating a firm stance on sanctions policy.

Trump also said he was not willing to rush any decision and remained prepared to wait several more days, or even longer if necessary, before taking further steps.
