In addition, for illegally using 28 double stoves by drawing a line in place of the 08 double stoves authorized by a customer next to Modern Housing, the connection was immediately disconnected and a fine of 90 thousand taka was paid to the customer through a mobile court as per the Bangladesh Gas Act, 2010.
The gas connection of the customer M/s New Top Textile BD Limited, which was previously disconnected due to the use of additional facilities than the approved one, was cut off from the control valve and killed.
Initial investigation did not find evidence of gas connection at a mosquito coil manufacturing company and Alcoba washing factory in Pilkuni, Nandalalpur, Fatulla, Narayanganj areas. However, as there was a possibility of gas connection according to the activities of the Alcoba washing factory, it was decided to keep the company under monitoring. – PID Handout
