The education board has shifted an SSC exam centre in Ghumdhum frontier area of Bandarban due to the ongoing firing inside Myanmar.
A notice signed by Professor AMM Mujibur Rahman, Controller of Examinations of Chattogram Education Board, was issued in this regard on Monday.
The notice mentioned that the the SSC exam centre will be shifted to North Ghumdhum Government Primary Schools 1 and 2.
It said that permission to use the following institutions as alternative venues to the existing centres for the SSC examination in 2024 has been issued due to the security risk posed by the conflicts.
There are 425 seats in No 1 North Ghumdhum Government Primary School and 200 seats in No 2 North Ghumdhum Government Primary School.
This year's SSC exam will start on February 15 and end on March12.
