One sent to jail in a case of leakage of question papers

A court of Dhaka today sent a man to the jail in a case lodged over leaking of question papers of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) recruitment test.

Dhaka CMM Court’s Magistrate Arafatul Rakib passed the order after police produced accused Md Sumon Jamaddar, 31, in the court and pleaded to keep him behind the bar till the submission of probe report in the case.

Earlier, on May 14 the court placed Sumon on one-day remand in the case. Sumon was arrested on May 13 as while he was participating in the MCQ test for the recruitment of DSHE office assistant from Eden Girls College center. He was accused of cheating, writing answers illegally, which were written over the back page of admit card. During the primary investigation, the accused admitted that he got the answers through WhatsApp in advance from an organised gang.

Later, the case was filed with Lalbagh Police Station of the city.
