Amusement spots draw huge crowds on Eid holidays

Eid zest and pleasure continued for the second day on Sunday across the country as there was blissful presence of visitors at recreational centers in Dhaka city and elsewhere in the country.

Hundreds of people, especially children, poured in Dhaka city's parks, historic places and other recreation centres on Tuesday afternoon.

 National Zoo at Mirpur, Hatirjheel, Dhanmondi lake, Ramna Park and Suhrawardy Udyan witnessed huge crowds.

A huge number of people especially children were seen travelling by metro-rail in the capital on Eid holidays.

Children, young boys and girls wearing colorful dresses gathered at the places of recreation in the city where small makeshift shops were set up to sell different foods and toys.

Eid gatherings of children and cultural functions were also held at different places.

Vehicular movement and pedestrians on the normally busy streets of the city were very thin today.

The buzzing city life became soothe as thousands of people left for their village homes to celebrate the Eid with their near and dear ones.

Amusement centres in other big cities like Chittagong, Rajshahi and Khulna became one of the main attractions for the families with kids during the Eid vacation, reports BSS.
