People of 61 villages in Ctg to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha tomorrow

The people of 61 villages in Chattogram district will celebrate the holy Eid-ul-Azha tomorrow,  one day ahead of the rest of the country.  


All preparations have been completed to celebrate the sacred religious festival. 
 
Followers of two renowned religious centres in Chattogram- Mirzakhil Darbar Sharif of Satkania and Shah Sufi Darbar Sharif of Chandanaish upazilas usually celebrate their Eid-ul-Azha festival in line with Saudi Arabia and other Middle-East Muslim countries.

Several  hundred devotees  of the two religious centres in 61 villages under Patiya, Chandanaish, Satkania, Anowara, Banshkhali, Sitakunda, Lohagara, Boalkhali and Fatikchari upazilas in Chattogram  as well as  some other upazilas in Feni and Chandpur districts will celebrate  the Eid-ul-Azha festival tomorrow with due religious fervour and festivity.
 
A total of 76 Eid congregations will be held at 61 villages including two largest at Mirzakhil Darbar Sharif in Satkania and Shah Sufi Darbar Sharif of Elahabad village in Chandanaish at 7 am on Friday morning.

Besides, eight large congregations will be held in other upazilas of the district in the morning. 

Chattogram district police sources said they have taken all necessary security measures to celebrate the religious festival, reports BSS.
