
First Cosmetics, Personal Care & Hygiene Expo to begin Friday
Dhaka, 7 August 2025 – For the first time in Bangladesh, a large-scale exhibition dedicated to cosmetics, personal care, and hygiene products is set to begin this Friday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka. Titled “Cosmetica: Personal Care & Hygiene Show 2025,” the two-day event marks a major milestone in the country's personal care industry.
The exhibition features participation from leading cosmetic brands, manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, and skincare experts from Bangladesh, Korea, Thailand, and other countries.
The event is being supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bangladesh, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), and Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP). Title Sponsored by Square Toiletries Limited, Cute is on board as a Gold Sponsor, while Ingenious Resources is the Platinum Sponsor.
The official opening ceremony will be held on 8 th August, Friday at 11:00 AM. The Chief Guest will be H.E Park Youngsik, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bangladesh, and the Special Guest will be Mr. Khemathat Archawathar, Minister Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Bangladesh.
The expo will include over a hundred stalls, live product demonstrations, beauty consultations, interactive discussions with skincare professionals, and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Stakeholders believe the event will open new avenues for investment, technological exchange, and business partnerships in Bangladesh’s fast-growing personal care sector.
The exhibition also emphasizes the importance of authentic and safe product use, while addressing key industry challenges such as counterfeit and black-market goods. Organizers expect the show to serve as a platform for addressing both the opportunities and challenges in the sector, laying the groundwork for sustainable and quality-driven growth.
