The Russian House in Dhaka has recently held a special screening of the 10th International Folk Song Festival "Dobrovidenie," dedicated to the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The event introduced Bangladeshi youth to the rich traditions of Russian folk music, cultural values and spiritual heritage.

The programme featured the festival's best performances, showcasing the diversity of folk art and the musical legacy of Russia's regions.

University students, schoolchildren, and college students, who showed keen interest in Russian folk culture, attended the gala event that contributed to strengthening cultural ties between Russia and Bangladesh, reports UNB.
