The exchange rate for dollar has been increased.
The exchange rate for dollar has been increased.
Banks have increased dollar purchase rate by Tk one to Tk 109.5. Banks will sell the greenback at Tk 110 to the importers.
Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB) and Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers Association (Bafeda) took the decision at a meeting on Thursday.
The new rate will be effective from friday (September 1).
The decision was taken amidst gradual fall in the country's foreign exchange reserves
