Fire at foam factory in Kadamtali doused

The fire that broke out at a foam factory in capital's Kadamtali area has been brought under control tonight.


According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the fire originated at around 6:24pm.

Following the alert, five fire service units were deployed to the scene and began firefighting operations immediately.

The fire was brought under control at 9:05 pm, fire service sources said.

However, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be confirmed immediately, reports BSS.
