Dhaka, Jan 07 -  A fire broke out at a building in the capital's Purana Paltan area on Tuesday morning.

Six units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence are working to douse the blaze, according to an official statement from the fire department.

Fire Service sources said, the fire broke out on the first floor of a four-storey building named Manikganj House in Purana Paltan around 9:24 am, which houses a law chamber.

Fire Service Media Cell official Talha Bin Jashim said, the fire service was informed about the fire at 9:17 am. Within seven minutes, two units of fire service from Siddique Bazar fire station were there. Four other units are operating there.-UNB
