Fire Destroys 14 Shops at Gazipur Kitchen Market

A fire severely damaged at least 14 shops at the Shamsuddin Sarkar Kitchen Market in the Bhogra Bypass area of Gazipur city early this morning.According to Mohammad Mamun, Deputy Assistant Director of Gazipur Fire Service, the fire broke out around 8:00 AM. The cause of the blaze is still unknown, and authorities are working to determine its origin.

Firefighters from the Gazipur Chaurasta Modern Fire Station responded swiftly, with three fire units arriving at the scene and containing the fire within 30 minutes.

While no injuries have been reported, the full extent of the damage is still being assessed. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause and assess the financial impact on the affected businesses.
