Fire breaks out at Dhaka airport’s cargo zone; 20 units battling blaze

A fire broke out at the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday.


The fire broke out at the cargo village of gate No 8 of the airport around 2:30 pm, said Talha Bin Jashim, an official of the Fire Service and Civil Defense (Media cell).

On information, 20 firefighting units have reached the spot to bring the blaze under control, reports UNB. 

Twelve other firefighting units are on the way to the spot.
