Price of soybean oil to be refixed on Wednesday

A meeting will be held on Wednesday to fix the new price of soybean oil .



Showing reason for paying additional VAT due to the unloading of goods, Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association has put forward a proposal to the commerce ministry to raise the price of bottled soybean oil by Tk15 per litre.
A meeting will be held on Wednesday (May 3) to fix the new price.
The association wrote to Commerce Ministry Senior Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh on Sunday (April 30) to adjust the prices of soybean oil and palm oil.
