TCB starts selling 3 essentials across country

TCB on Thursday started selling three daily essentials lentils, soybean oil and rice across the country.

Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) on Thursday started selling three daily essentials lentils, soybean oil and rice across the country. But not sugar and onions in January.

According to TCB, a customer with a TCB card can buy two litres of soybean oil or rice bran oil at a maximum rate of Tk 100 per kilogram (kg), 5 kg rice at Tk 30 and 2 kg lentil at Tk 60 per kg in a package of Tk 470.

Though, TCB sold sugar and onion in some parts of the country in December, but it will not sell these two products in January.
