BFF observe Sheikh Kamal's 73rd birth anniversary

Dhaka, 5 Aug  - The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) today  observed the 73rd birth anniversary of valiant freedom fighter Shaheed  captain Sheikh Kamal, the eldest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, through various programmes, said a press release.

The day-long programmes included recitation from the Holy Quran, placing wreaths at portrait of Sheikh Kamal at the BFF Bhaban and milad and doa mahfil after Asar prayer at the BFF Bhaban. The BFF organized the programmes marking the birth anniversary Sheikh Kamal.

BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy, MP, BFF vice presidents Ataur Rahman Bhuyan, (Manik) and Mohiuddin Ahmed, BFF member Elias Hossain, members of Bangladesh women's football team and BFF's general secretary Mohammad Abu Nayeem Shohag, among others, were present on the occasion. 

Meanwhile, different sports federations and sports associations have observed the birth anniversary of Sheikh Kamal in a befitting manner.
