Daffodil Int'l University emerges Champions

Dhaka, 8 Nov -Daffodil Int'l University emerged champions in Bangabandhu Inter-University Sports Football Championship beating Gono Bishwabidyalay by 4-3 goals in a tie-breaker in the keenly contested final match held Tuesday at BUET ground in the city, said a press release.

Foreign Minister Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen, MP, witnessed the day's final match as the chief guest while Youth and Sports Secretary Mesbah Uddin was present as the special guest.

The match rolled into the tie breaker after the regulation time ended a goalless draw.

Mir Ekhlas Hossain Robi of Daffodil International University was named the man of the tournament for his impressive performance.
