Sanjida Akhter, a dependable midfielder of Bangladesh womens national football team, was invited by the Indian club East Bengal FC to play for them. Receiving an NOC from the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) she has already applied for the Indian Visa.
Monday at noon, Sabina Khatun, the ace striker and skipper of the team, also went to India to play for Indian club Kickstart FC in the Indian Womens Football League.

At the moment, Sanjidas East Bengal is in fifth place on the point table of the Indian Womens Football League with three points from four matches. Sabinas Kickstart FC is in second place with ten points from same number of matches. Orissa FC is leading the point table with 12 points.
