Rahmatganj beat Brothers Union 2-0 in BPL

Dhaka, 5 April - Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society earned a comfortable 2-0 goal win over bottom-ranked Brothers Union Club in the ABG Bangladesh Premier League football held at Rajshahi district stadium in Rajshahi on Friday.

Egyptian forward Mostafa Kahraba and Ghanaian forward Ernest Boateng scored one each in both halves to secure victory for Rahmatganj, who led the first half by 1-0 goal.

Mostafa broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Rahmatganj in the 44th minute while Ernest doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 85th minute of the match.

With the day's win, the old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj collected 10 points from 11 matches while the all orange Gopibagh outfit remained at their previous collection of three points playing the same number of outings.

Earlier, in the first phase, Brothers Union Club played out to a 2-2 goal draw with Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society held at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
