Fakirerpool, Fortis FC post win in BCL



DHAKA - Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club and Fortis Football Club won their respective matches of the Bangladesh Championship League Football held today at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur.
 
In the day’s first match, Fakirerpool Young Men’s Club blanked Victoria Sporting Club by 4-0 goals.
 
In the day’s match, Kankar put Fakirerpool ahead early in the 4th minute from a penalty while after the breather Amiruzzaman doubled the lead scoring the second goal for Fakirerpool in the 57th minute of the match.
 
Roman further widened the team’s margin scoring the third goal for Fakirerpool in the 58th minute while Kankar sealed the victory scoring his second and fourth goal for his team in the 74th minute of the match.
 
In the day’s second match, Fortis Football Club defeated Karwan Bazar Pragati Sangha by 2-1 goals.

After the barren first half, Omar finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Fortis in the 52nd minute while Ziku doubled the lead for Fortis in the 72nd minute of the match.
 
Hafaz however pulled one back scoring a lone goal for Karwan Bazar in the 73rd minute of the match.    
 
Wednesday’s matches: Agrani Bank Limited Sports Club vs Uttara Football Club (5 pm) and Swadhinata Krira Sangha vs Dhaka Wanderers Club (7 pm), Both the matches will be held at the same venue. BSS
