Dhaka, 26 March  - Bangladesh national football team is expected to return home this afternoon (Wednesday) after playing out a goalless draw against India in the Asian Cup Qualifiers held in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shillong.

The booters have already left Shillong early this morning for Gawahati to catch a flight for Kolkata. After staying two and a half hours in Kolkata, the team is supposed to land in Dhaka at around 5pm.

Despite dominating the proceedings in Tuesday's match on Indian soil, Bangladesh had to settle for a draw against the hosts.

The booters created numerous scoring opportunities in the match, led by Hamza Choudhury, but failed to capitalise on them and ultimately had to leave the field with one point.

Bangladesh will play their home match against Singapore on June 10. BSS
