City Club notch win in BCL

Dhaka, 7 April - City Club, came from behind, registered a 3-1 goals win over Wari Club in a match of the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) football held at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground in the capital on Monday. 

After the barren first half, Juel Rana finally broke the deadlock scoring the 
first goal for Wari in the 62nd minute. 

The lead, however, lasted for little time as Md Owskurun Ahmed Rohan restored 
the parity for City Club in the 63rd minute of the match.

City Club took the lead as Md Mijanur Rahman scored the second goal in the 
77th minute and Masum Mia sealed the victory scoring the third goal for City 
Club in the 85th minute of the match.

In another match of the day, BRTC Sports Club split points with old Dhaka 
outfit Farashganj Sporting Club when their match ended in a tame goalless 
draw held at Fortis ground.BSS
