U-19 football team's training camp to begin on April 17

Dhaka, 10 April - The residential training camp of the U-19 National Football Team for the upcoming SAFF U-19 Championship will begin from April 17 at Shamsul Huda Football Academy in Jashore district.

The decision has been taken at the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) 
development committee's third meeting held at board room of the BFF Bhaban.

BFF Vice-President and Development Committee's Chairman Naser Shahriar Jahedi 
presided over the meeting. Other members of the committee were also present 
in the meeting.
 
The team will hold their training session at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha 
Prothistan (BKSP) turf ground, one-week before their departure for India, as 
the championship will be held on the official turf.

The SAFF U-19 championship will be held from May 9-18 in India.

The meeting also confirmed the participation of the U-17 Football Team in 
SAFF U-17 Championship 2025 and AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers.

Meanwhile, the meeting decided to celebrate the AFC Grassroots Day which will 
be held on May 15.BSS
