Brothers, Rahmatganj split point in BPL

Dhaka, 3 May- Brothers Union Club split points with Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society when their match ended in a tame goalless draw in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football held at Birshreshtha Flight lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj today (Saturday).

In the day’s match both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to score due to lack of proper finishing.    

With the day’s outcome, old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj moved to fourth position in the league table with 20 points from 13 matches while the all-orange Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union Club also moved to fifth position in the league table with 19 points playing the same number of matches.

Earlier, in the first leg, Rahmatganj beat Brothers Union Club by 3-1 goals held at the same venue.BSS
