(BSS/AFP) - This year has a high probability of being even hotter than 2023, which itself was the hottest year ever recorded, the United Nations' weather and climate agency said Tuesday.

"There is a high probability that 2024 will again break the record of 2023," the World Meteorological Organization's climate monitoring chief Omar Baddour told a press conference presenting the WMO's annual State of the Global Climate report.
