-Israel Kills 7 Members of the “WCK” in Continuation of the Policy of Starvation and Exclusion of International Organizations after Targeting “UNRWA”

-Increased Violations of Al-Aqsa during Ramadan and Confiscation of 8159 Dunums in Nablus

Jeddah, 02 April 2024 - 512 Palestinians were killed in one week by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, and the number of wounded reached 736. The number of killings among Palestinians in Gaza from October 7, 2023, until March 31, 2024, is about (33,237) dead. Meanwhile, Israel, the occupying power, intends to invade the city of Rafah despite the overpopulation and the gathering of displaced people, under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions that amount to famine.

During the week monitored by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Observatory on Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians, March 26 - April 1, 2024, the Israeli occupation forces committed (51) massacres against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The most prominent of which was the horrific crime that targeted the World Central Kitchen (WCK) Team, consisting of 7 Individuals. The WCK said in a statement issued on its website that it was devastated to confirm that 7 members of the WCK team had been killed in an IDF strike in Gaza. The WCK added that its team was traveling in a deconflicted zone in two armored cars branded with the WCK logo and a soft skin vehicle. The WCK also clarified that despite coordinating movements with the IDF, the convoy was hit as it was leaving the Deir al-Balah warehouse, where the team had unloaded more than 100 tons of humanitarian food aid.

This massacre sends a clear Israeli message to the world that everyone is threatened with death in the Gaza Strip, amid deliberate starvation and indirect expulsion of international organizations, a policy that began with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and continues to intimidate all those working to provide food to the residents of Gaza.

The occupation forces increased their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to reach 8 weekly incursions, in light of the Palestinians’ performance of the Taraweeh prayer in the holy month of Ramadan. This occurred amid the Temple Group’s announcement of its intention to hold a preparatory press conference to “slaughter the Red Cow” in Al-Quds. The number of settlers who stormed the Blessed Al-Aqsa reached 1,452 extremists in a week between March 24-30, 2024. This period included the Jews’ celebration of the Jewish “Purim” holiday, which was accompanied by extremist incursions into Al-Aqsa’s compound.

In the West Bank, five people were killed in the city of Jenin, and the occupation forces arrested 153 Palestinians in various cities in the West Bank. Last week coincided with the Palestinians’ commemoration of Land Day since 1967 until now. The number of settler attacks on Palestinian villages and towns reached about 26 attacks. The occupation forces confiscated 8,159 Dunums of land from the village of Aqraba in Nablus in order to build settlement units on them. They also confiscated 4 private vehicles in Jericho, Salfit, and Nablus, and demolished a garbage dump in Salfit and property in Jericho, in addition to demolishing commercial stores in the city of Al-Quds and leveling lands in Nablus. The occupation forces also prevented worshipers from performing their prayers in a mosque in the Husan area of Hebron and attacked medical teams and ambulances in the town of Tubas. This brings the number of Israeli violations in general to 2,095 violations in a week, including the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Al-Quds. – OIC News
