Jeddah, 23 January, 2025 - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its strong condemnation of the attacks and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, especially in the city of Jenin and its camp, which resulted in the martyrdom of ten Palestinians and the injury of dozens of citizens, in addition to the destruction of roads and infrastructure and the establishment of military checkpoints and iron gates in order to isolate Palestinian cities and villages. The OIC considers these attacks an extension of the war crimes committed against the Palestinian people.

The OIC also warned of the seriousness of the daily crimes committed by extremist settler groups, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, the latest of which was their horrific attack on several Palestinian villages and the setting of fire to property, homes, vehicles, and agricultural lands. The OIC held the Israeli occupation directly responsible for the repercussions of these heinous crimes that entail accountability under international criminal law.

The OIC, at the same time, renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities, put an end to this ongoing Israeli terrorism throughout the occupied Palestinian territory, including the city of Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and to provide protection to the Palestinian people. – OIC News
