Health Minister to inaugurate nationwide Vitamin A Plus Campaign

Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Hossain is set to inaugurate the first round of the Nationwide Vitamin A Plus Campaign 2026 on Sunday. 

The inauguration ceremony will be held at 10:00 am at the Shaheed Abu Sayed International Convention Center in Shahbagh.

According to the programme schedule released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the minister will attend the event as the chief guest and formally launch the nationwide campaign, reports UNB.

The campaign aims to provide Vitamin A capsules to eligible children across the country as part of the government's efforts to prevent Vitamin A deficiency and improve child health.
