The condition of Local Government Minister and BNP Standing Committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital, has shown some improvement, though he remains under close medical observation.

“He is receiving treatment under close observation due to a lung infection. His condition is improving,” his personal assistant Bahauddin Milton told UNB.

He said the doctors have requested people not to crowd the hospital to see the minister.

Moyeen Khan was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Bashundhara on the night of October 21 with severe breathing difficulties and chest pain.

He is being treated under the supervision of a medical team, led by specialist doctors Atikur Rahman, Ziaul Hasan and Shahabuddin Talukder, reports UNB.
