According to BNP media wing official Shairul Kabir Sayrul, Fakhrul had been feeling unwell for the past two days, with his condition worsening following a visit to the Suhrawardy Udyan book fair last week.
In a morning update, Sayrul confirmed that Fakhrul’s condition has improved and he is now stable.
Doctors, along with Fakhrul’s family, have requested that people avoid unnecessary gatherings at the hospital.
The party has urged its supporters to keep Fakhrul in their prayers for a speedy recovery.
