Plan to set up shishu hospitals in all districts: Maleque

Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque today said the government has a plan to set up shishu hospital at every district.

"The government has a plan to set up shishu hospital at every district across the country in future", he said.

The minister revealed this while responding to a query made by treasury bench lawmaker M Mamunur Rashid Kiron of Noakhali-3 at the question-answer session which was tabled at the Jatiya Sangsad here with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair, reports BSS.

Currently, the construction work of establishing a shishu hospital at every divisional cities across the country are underway as per the commitment made by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said the minister.
