Jeddah, March 3, 2025 - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to halt the entry of humanitarian aid and close all crossings leading to the Gaza Strip, noting that these illegal measures constitute a violation of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention, as well as relevant UN resolutions.

The OIC considered that the illegal Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip constitutes collective punishment and a crime against humanity that requires accountability and prosecution under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The OIC also called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take the necessary measures to put an end to the crimes of Israel, the occupying power, and its ongoing violations in the occupied Palestinian territory, and to ensure the adequate, permanent and unhindered access of humanitarian aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip. – OIC News
