Govt orders shutdown of mobile Internet services

The government has mandated the suspension of mobile internet services in response to escalating violence linked to the Anti-Discrimination Students' Movement's non-cooperation campaign.

On Sunday, a senior official from a mobile phone operator revealed to the media, "We have received a directive to halt 4G services."
