Jeddah, 06-12-2025 - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its rejection and strong condemnation of Israeli statements aimed at opening the Rafah crossing in one sole direction to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. The OIC affirmed that forced displacement constitutes a war crime and a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

The OIC called upon the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to fulfill its obligations and pressure the Israeli occupation to complete the implementation of the "Trump Plan" in a manner that ensures the permanent and safe opening of the Rafah crossing in both directions, guarantees freedom of movement and the unimpeded and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid, achieves an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, and puts an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The OIC warned that the continuation of the Israeli occupation's aggression, violations, and crimes poses a threat to regional and international security and stability, and stressed the need to continue international efforts to achieve a just, comprehensive and lasting peace with the aim of ending the Israeli occupation and implementing the two-state solution, leading to the realization of the sovereignty of the independent Palestinian state with East Al-Quds as its capital, on the borders of June 4, 1967, in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions. – OIC News
