OIC Condemns Escalation of Settler Crimes in the West Bank

Jeddah, 08-03-2026 - The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned in the strongest terms the continuing crimes of murder, incitement, settlement expansion and organized terrorism perpetrated by gangs of extremist settlers under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, which today resulted in the martyrdom of five Palestinian citizens and the injury of others in several villages in the occupied West Bank.

The General Secretariat affirmed that this heinous crime is an extension of the systematic crimes of the Israeli occupation, based on policies of displacement, annexation, and settlement, and attempts to impose alleged Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territory, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and international legitimacy resolutions.

The General Secretariat renewed its call on the International Community to intervene immediately to stop all ongoing Israeli crimes and violations throughout the occupied Palestinian territory and to impose clear and deterrent sanctions on the Israeli colonial settlement system. – OIC News
