Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque inaugurated the observatory vaccination campaign at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital on Thursday (August 11).
On the first day of the vaccination campaign, 16 students (class I to V) of Abul Bashar Government Primary School at Mohammadpur in the capital have been administered vaccine.
“16 students have been administered vaccine on trial basis. The vaccination campaign will begin in 12 city corporations of the country from August 25. Later, it will start at upazila-district level by turns,” the health minister said.
